1 – Update to the Latest Version

Get Ready With Documents

If you’re using the UPI payment method for the first time, it’s essential to have certain documents ready. These include your bank ATM card, passport, and ID card. Having these documents on hand will facilitate the setup process and reduce potential delays.

UPI Payment Setup On WhatsApp

1 – Getting Started with Interface


Step One: Launch your WhatsApp, tap on the three dots in the upper right corner, and click the Payments options. 

2 – Start UPI Payment Setup


After that, you will get the Start Setup option to start the process for UPI Payments. Hit on the Start button and follow all the instructions. Remember to read all the terms and conditions given by WhatsApp and then tap on the Agree & continue option.

1 – Chat and Pay


You don’t need other tools to send UPI Payments; ask the receiver to give you the QR code. If they have set up UPI on WhatsApp, you can send them Payment without difficulties.  You need to hit the Rupee icon button to send Payment directly to anyone in your contacts.

After the payment is complete, you will be notified by WhatsApp application, and the receiver will also get a notification of the payment on the screen.
